We Will Never Forget
For the 4th of July parade in Afton this year, the girls and I got to participate. The float we were on had the theme of We Will Never Forget, for those soldiers that lost their lives fighting for our freedom.
This is the poster that the girls and I made. There were posters all around the float.
This is a picture of Richard Merritt and some of his buddies that he fought with. Two of which lost their lives. It was a touching memorial for lost friends.
On the top are two pairs of boots with guns and a helmet in memory of the fallen.
Here we are. The girls threw candy, flags, and hats while I got to pretend to be Betsy Ross sewing the flag. It was a wonderful experience and we were honored to be a part of it.
